Easter 2020 highlights and videoPosted by Amy Gumbrell 20 May 2020
This is an update about our Easter 2020 highlights including the video. It is now almost the end of May and yet the challenges faced by communities is still very real. Here at the Real Junk Food Project we have continued to evolve our mobilisation of resources. This includes communicating via social media and here on our website. We haven’t always kept everything up to date but as we are currently mid Mental Health Awareness week with the theme of Kindness, we can afford to go easy on ourselves.
We’ve updated and tweaked some of our content over the past six weeks so we can offer the most current information about our mission. In fact many of you who have visited us will have seen our Easter highlights video proudly posted on our homepage. We have updated that to our new April Thank you video so be sure to have a watch of that. If you didn’t get a chance to watch it, here it is 🙂
Social media and PR
We want to create awareness and get the message out that food is available to those who need it. This could not be done without our fabulous social media and PR volunteers. Thank you to you all for your help and dedication to get the word out there. We are on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and our very own CEO, Adam Smith runs a YouTube channel. We post every day of the week on almost all of the platforms. Please do share and like whenever you can.
We have lots more to report and we will do our very best to ensure we share regularly. Have you got any great stories of Kindness? Send them over as we love to hear from you. We don’t send out a regular newsletter but it is something we hope to try out in the future.
