The Real Junk Food Project team is looking for a head of operations at their HQ, the Kindness Sharehouse in Wakefield.

Full time position: £16,380

The role

Your duties and responsibilities are to oversee the daily running of the Sharehouse and coordinate the appropriate resources to effectively manage the smooth inflow and outflow supply chains of the intercepted food following all the appropriate company policies and procedures. The nature of the operations will necessitate that you will also have to undertake “hands on” operational duties as and when required.

What we would like from you

Our ideal applicant will operate with our values of kindness and be a great team player, using respect and trust to build strong working relationships with all colleagues. You’ll be a self-starter with great interpersonal and communication skills to work with volunteers, customers, supporters and stakeholders. Strong organisational logistics and planning skills are desirable, with a good grasp of technical and IT skills for database and stock management.
